Expected Results Of The Programme The programme aims at achieving the following results: |

Improved NSA Institutional Capacity |

In this respect, the programme will aim at the financial and operational sustainability of NSA activities; strengthened functioning of NSA networks as well as the mobilization of domestic resources in support of these activities. |

Improved NSA Advocacy Capacity |

|
The programme will result in development policies being responsive to the needs of the Malawi population, the development of enhanced dialogue between NSAs and the Government on policy issues, as well as more effective and substantiated advocacy by NSAs |

Enhanced NSA Service Delivery |
|
|
|
|
The programme will support innovation and best practices of NSAs in the area of service delivery as well as the establishment of mechanisms for target group participation (local communities and vulnerable groups) in programme monitoring and evaluation contributing – in this way – to increased effectiveness and accountability of NSA programmes |

Enhanced Cooperation between NSAs and Government |

The programme will support among other activities consultations between GoM and NSAs on policy and legislation issues; the development of NSA-GoM Memorandum of Understanding for co-operation at national and district level; Consultations between Non State Actors and Parliamentary Committees; the formulation of NSA Policy and finalisation as well as dessimination of the NSA/NGO Code of Conduct; training of district management teams in NSAcoordinationand replication of successful NSA-GoM co-operation models at district level. |
